Livewires is a voluntary support group set up to support people in Northern Ireland who have had ICD's (implantable cardioverter defibrillators) fitted. Support, advice and reassurance are given, not only to the patients, but also to their families and carers. The group was founded in 2004 and has a proper legal Constitution. The listed aims of the group include:
The Livewires Group is not linked financially to any other voluntary charity group and our aim is be self-supporting. Therefore any monies raised will be for the benefit of the ICD Patients, their Families and Carer in Northern Ireland. We need you to join us to make the organisation a success!
